After a nervous phone call from a member of the public, Zanchieta removed a Monitor Lizard from town to safety.
Zanchieta found this litte guy in someones yard in Bloemfontein. After monitoring him for a few days for injuries and making sure he is eating, he was set to be released back into the wild. We decided to call him Frikkie.
The team at Zanchieta took Frikkie to Soetdoring/Olive hill Nature reserve to be released and live a happy life, away from humans.
