Remember Jimmy? Jimmy come to Zanchieta in August 2019. He was brought to Zanchieta by the Department of Economics , Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (Departement of Nature Conservation} all the way from the Eastern Cape.
After a period of time during which we nurtured him,he was also taken to Stormberg, Burgersdorp (October 2019) to join Bobo (who was also relocated earlier August 2019). Lizette van Schalkwyk, owner of zanchieta and lehodimo accompanied Jimmy herself.
Jimmy will be introduced to the other baboons and Bobo at Stormberg, where his interaction with others of his specie will be monitored.
