Day Visits
Experience Wildlife Up Close!
We offer visitors a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see our rescued animals up close and capture some amazing photos!
Zanchieta Wildlife Rescue is open 7 days a week from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Please note: While no interaction with wildlife is allowed, you will still have the chance to be close enough to hear the animal sounds, look into the eyes of an owl, and watch the lions eat!
Admission fee includes

guided feeding tour at 4 PM
We also have a curio shop, Tiki Cocktail Bar, deli, and eatery on the premises.
No bookings required for day visits!
School Trips
Zanchieta welcomes large groups, including school field trips! We offer a spacious parking area with ample room for buses, as well as grassy areas perfect for playing and picnics.
For larger school groups, we arrange guided walking tours, allowing students to explore our wildlife rescue center in smaller groups. While no physical interaction with the animals is allowed, these tours provide an up-close and educational experience with our rescued wildlife.

Kruger Trip
Kruger National Park, located in northeastern South Africa, is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including the famous Big Five—lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos. Spanning nearly 20,000 square kilometers, Kruger is one of the largest national parks in the world! If you’re looking for an unforgettable safari experience, Kruger Park is the place to be.
About the Trip
Zanchieta offers affordable Kruger trips that begin and end at our farm in Bloemfontein, South Africa. The trip lasts 5 days and 4 nights, with accommodation in Marloth Park, a wildlife sanctuary situated along the Crocodile River, just outside Kruger.
Marloth Park (17.5 sq km) is home to many free-roaming animals, including zebra, giraffes, ostriches, monkeys, kudu, and bush babies. Here, you’ll have the chance to walk among the animals and even feed them! In your free time, you can also enjoy optional excursions such as tiger fishing, 4×4 quad biking, and visiting a local shopping area.
Accommodation
Our Marloth Park accommodation sleeps up to 10 guests:
